PT Bank Syariah Indonesia (BRIS) reports that 59.38% of Indonesian Hajj pilgrims have paid their Hajj fees through BSI's services. As of now, 97,571 pilgrims out of 164,319 eligible have completed their payments. The total Hajj cost is set at Rp 87,409,365.45, with pilgrims needing to pay the difference between this and their initial deposit of Rp 25 million.

The bank recorded that out of 164,319 eligible pilgrims who are BSI customers, 97,571 individuals have completed their payments as of the latest update.
The Indonesian government has set the Biaya Perjalanan Ibadah Haji (BPIH) or Hajj pilgrimage cost at Rp 87,409,365.45 for the regular quota. Pilgrims who have made an initial deposit of Rp 25 million are required to pay the remaining balance. BSI has facilitated this process through multiple channels including 1,039 branch offices, 126,000 BSI agents, as well as digital platforms such as BYOND mobile banking and BSI Net.
For the 2026 Hajj season, Indonesia has been allocated a quota of 221,000 pilgrims, with 203,320 falling under the regular category. BSI has a significant presence in the Hajj savings segment, with 81.5% (164,319) of the regular quota being customers of BSI's Hajj savings program. The majority of these customers originate from East Java, Central Java, and West Java, indicating the bank's strong penetration in these regions.
The high percentage of pilgrims using BSI's payment services demonstrates the bank's strong position in the Islamic banking sector and its ability to serve specific religious financial needs. This participation rate highlights BSI's effective distribution network and digital capabilities in facilitating important religious transactions.
