According to General Manager Corporate Secretary Eva Chairunisa, the most frequently misplaced items include tumblers or water bottles, shopping bags, food, hats, wallets, mobile phones, laptops, suitcases, and travel documents.
The data analysis reveals that there is an average of 650 items lost per month. KCIC attributes the high number of lost items to passengers being in a hurry when disembarking from the train or transferring at station areas. The company emphasizes the importance of passengers checking their seats, baggage racks, and storage pockets before leaving their seats.
KCIC continues to remind passengers to be mindful of their belongings, particularly in the moments leading up to disembarkation. The company is working to minimize the occurrence of lost items through enhanced passenger awareness and potentially improved onboard storage solutions.
