Adhi Karya Responds to Planned Demolition of Monorel Poles

Ongoing Discussions with DKI Jakarta Government

PT Adhi Karya (Persero) Tbk (ADHI) has confirmed that there is currently no final agreement regarding the planned demolition of monorel poles located on Jalan Rasuna Said and Asia Afrika. According to Adhi Karya's Corporate Secretary, Rozi Sparta, the company is still in active negotiations with the DKI Jakarta Provincial Government about the matter.

Legal Basis of Asset Ownership

The monorel poles in question are considered Adhi Karya's assets based on two key legal documents: a court ruling (Putusan Pengadilan 296/Pdt.G/2012/PN.JKT.Sel) dated October 22, 2012, and a legal opinion (No. B.354/G/Gph.1/08/2017) from the State Attorney's Office dated August 16, 2017. These documents legally establish Adhi Karya's ownership of the poles.

Planned Demolition and Current Status

The DKI Jakarta Provincial Government had planned to begin demolishing the monorel poles starting Wednesday of the following week. However, Adhi Karya emphasizes that any decision regarding the poles must be made with their involvement, as they are the rightful owners of the assets. The company remains committed to finding a resolution through ongoing discussions with the government.
