Meeting with Finance Minister Highlights Industry Concerns

The Indonesian Garment and Textile Association (AGTI) has formally requested government intervention to address raw material supply challenges facing the national textile industry. During a meeting with Finance Minister Purbaya Yudhi Sadewa, AGTI Chairman Anne Patricia Sutanto emphasized that ensuring uninterrupted raw material supply is crucial for maintaining optimal industry operations.

The issue is set to be addressed through the debottlenecking task force operating under the Coordinating Ministry for Economic Affairs. According to Anne, this task force will focus on simplifying existing regulations and enhancing business ease of doing business in Indonesia.
