This development comes as a response to the company's internal statistics showing that outpatient transactions are nearly 10 times higher than inpatient services.
The Express Discharge service allows patients to complete their outpatient treatment without queuing at cashiers or pharmacies. After consulting with doctors, patients can directly go home while the billing and medication processes are handled through the Garda Mobile Medcare app. This feature has been successfully implemented in collaboration with several major hospital partners including Mitra Keluarga, Primaya, Hermina, Premier Bintaro, and Eka Hospitals.
Operation Director Hendry Yoga explained that this innovation is part of the company's customer-first approach, prioritizing services based on transaction volume and customer needs. The implementation of this feature positions Asuransi Astra at the forefront of digital innovation in Indonesia's healthcare insurance sector. With Garda Medika's extensive network of 4,990 healthcare providers across 79 cities, this service is set to significantly enhance customer satisfaction.
