AZKO Launches Ambitious LED Bulb Donation Program to Reduce Emissions

PT Aspirasi Hidup Indonesia Tbk (AHI) has launched an ambitious initiative through its AZKO Berbagi Cahaya program, donating 150,000 energy-efficient LED bulbs across Indonesia. This effort supports the country's national climate action by reducing emissions and promoting sustainable energy practices. The program has already reached 30 cities and 50 public facilities, including schools, places of worship, cultural centers, and museums.

Expanding Reach and Impact

The company's director, Teresa Wibowo, announced that the initiative aims to expand its reach significantly by 2030. The program targets 30,000 households, 300 schools, and 300 public facilities across Indonesia, from Aceh to Papua, with a particular focus on areas near AZKO's operational locations. This expansion will involve distributing approximately 150,000 LED bulbs, contributing to both energy savings and emission reductions.
