Bank Indonesia (BI) has successfully integrated its Electronic Application and Licensing Service (EASE) system with the One Single Submission (OSS) platform of the Ministry of Investment/Investment Coordinating Board (Kemeninves). This strategic integration, announced during the Central Banking Service Excellence Achievement (CBSEA) 2025 event, enables real-time verification of Business Identification Numbers (NIB), effectively accelerating the licensing process for businesses.
The integration aims to strengthen the efficiency of central bank services while enhancing business certainty. BI's Senior Deputy Governor, Destry Damayanti, emphasized the bank's commitment to adapting to digital technology to provide services that are faster, more transparent, secure, and relevant to societal needs. The integration is expected to be fully implemented through a Straight Through Processing mechanism, with plans to expand to various digital-based central banking services.
The integration is a result of collaborative efforts between BI and Kemeninves, with Deputy Minister for Investment Services, Andi Maulana, highlighting the importance of data uniformity as a basis for policy formulation. The CBSEA 2025 event served as a platform for appreciation, reflection, and strategic communication among BI, government ministries, the banking industry, and other stakeholders.
This development is part of BI's broader strategy to enhance global connectivity in supporting cross-border financial transactions and fostering collaboration between financial institutions and industry players. The central bank has achieved several milestones throughout 2025, including improvements in state fund management, system harmonization with the Ministry of Finance, and enhancements in Business Continuity Management across institutions.
