Bank Mandiri marked its 27th anniversary by launching four comprehensive Corporate Social and Environmental Responsibility (TJSL) programs under the theme 'Sinergi Majukan Negeri'. These initiatives have successfully reached over 60,000 beneficiaries across Indonesia, demonstrating the bank's commitment to creating meaningful social impact. The programs were implemented throughout September and October 2025, involving thousands of Bank Mandiri employees and various strategic partners including regional hospitals, MSME players, and environmental communities.
The Mandiri Affordable Market program provided 50,000 packages of basic necessities containing rice, cooking oil, and granulated sugar at an affordable price of Rp27,000. This initiative, held at all regional offices, involved around 400 local MSME players and aimed to increase the purchasing power of local communities. By making essential goods more accessible, Bank Mandiri continues to support economic stability at the grassroots level.
The Mandiri Health Initiative reached 7,000 beneficiaries in 12 regions across Indonesia, offering free health checks, medical consultation services, and distribution of free glasses. This program targeted workers in the informal sector, including fishermen, farmers, market traders, and motorbike taxi drivers. By collaborating with local hospitals, Bank Mandiri promoted awareness of healthy living while improving community productivity.
Bank Mandiri implemented the Mandiri Cares for Schools program in 27 elementary to secondary schools across Indonesia. The assistance included renovation of classrooms, rejuvenation of learning facilities, and construction of reading corners filled with books donated by Bank Mandiri employees. This initiative aimed to create safe, comfortable, and inspiring learning environments for Indonesian children, supporting the development of future generations.
The Mandiri Clean Action program was carried out at 27 strategic locations, including rivers, beaches, reservoirs, and mangrove forests across Indonesia. Involving over 1,350 participants from both Bank Mandiri and local communities, this initiative collected more than 10 tons of waste. The program ensured responsible waste management through collaboration with Waste4Change, a technology-based waste management company and alumnus of the Young Entrepreneur Mandiri program.
These TJSL programs reflect Bank Mandiri's strong commitment to sustainable development and its role as a strategic partner to the government in promoting social, economic, and educational welfare. By engaging both employees and local communities, Bank Mandiri has created a meaningful impact that extends beyond business achievements to tangible benefits for society.
