The distribution was carried out through a collaborative effort with various stakeholders, including the Regional Disaster Management Agency (BPBD), local government authorities, TNI, Polri, and volunteers from Bank Mandiri (Mandirian). This synergy enabled the rapid distribution of aid to affected areas, ensuring that the relief reached those in need effectively.
In Aceh, the relief efforts reached Banda Aceh, Lhokseumawe, and Pidie. In North Sumatra, aid was distributed to Pangkalan Brandan, Batang Toru, Sipirok, and Sibolga. Meanwhile, in West Sumatra, assistance was provided to Padang, Pariaman, Tanah Datar, Agam, and Pasaman. The widespread coverage ensured that communities across various regions received the necessary support.
Despite facing challenges such as disrupted access to certain areas, Bank Mandiri's team remained committed to accelerating the distribution process. Alternative routes were utilized to ensure that the relief packages reached the affected communities. Mandirian volunteers not only assisted in the distribution but also helped with operational coordination at relief posts and evacuation efforts.
This relief effort is part of Bank Mandiri's Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) program, known as Tanggung Jawab Sosial dan Lingkungan (TJSL).
