The bank has deployed 10 trucks as part of a total 30 vehicles prepared for the relief distribution across multiple stages. The distribution process is supported by Bank Mandiri's employee volunteers, known as Mandirian, who are part of the State-Owned Enterprises (BUMN) Relief Volunteer program.
To support the relief efforts, Bank Mandiri has established disaster relief posts in Gayo Lues and South Aceh. These posts are equipped with essential facilities such as public kitchens, education and health services, power generators, and internet access. The bank is working closely with local authorities to ensure that the relief efforts are well-coordinated and effective. Riduan emphasized the importance of speed and accuracy in the distribution process, stating that Bank Mandiri is committed to being at the forefront of supporting the affected communities.
In addition to immediate relief efforts, Bank Mandiri is planning long-term recovery initiatives. These include physical assistance, environmental revitalization, and support for damaged educational facilities and places of worship. The bank is also offering financing relaxation measures to help alleviate the financial burden on affected communities and support their gradual recovery.
