Recognition for Community Empowerment Efforts

Bank Mandiri has received a prestigious award from the Ministry of Villages and Disadvantaged Regions (PDT) for its outstanding contributions to rural economic development. The recognition was given during the National Village Day celebration in Boyolali. The award acknowledges Bank Mandiri's long-term commitment to strengthening village economies through integrated financing, business assistance, and financial ecosystem development.

Comprehensive Rural Development Initiatives

The bank's Mandiri Sahabat Desa program has made significant impacts in rural communities by:

• Empowering over 1,000 households across hundreds of villages
• Implementing community empowerment programs for 800 beneficiaries
• Supporting stunting prevention for 500 beneficiaries
• Enhancing infrastructure in underdeveloped villages for 350 beneficiaries
• Empowering plantation community groups for 100 beneficiaries

Strengthening Village Economic Institutions

Bank Mandiri has collaborated with Village-Owned Enterprises (BUMDES) and Joint Village-Owned Enterprises (BUMDESMA) by:

• Opening over 3,700 BUMDES/BUMDESMA savings accounts
• Managing more than 4,700 accounts for Red White Village Cooperative
• Disbursing credit to 147 partners for the Free Nutritious Meal Program

Expanding Financial Inclusion

The bank has also launched Mandiri Sahabatku, a program for Indonesian Migrant Workers (PMI), reaching over 20,000 PMI across six countries including Malaysia, Japan, and Hong Kong. This initiative includes an entrepreneurship capacity building program with 948 participants in the Bapak Asuh PMI scheme.
