PT Bank Mandiri Tbk (BMRI) recently organized a socialization event for its Kredit Program Perumahan (KPP), a housing financing program designed to accelerate national housing development. The event, held in Tangerang, was conducted in collaboration with the Ministry of Housing and Settlements (PKP) and attracted over 875 participants from various segments of the housing industry.
The participants included approximately 315 supply-side businesses, ranging from developers and contractors to building material suppliers, as well as over 260 micro-enterprises on the demand side that could potentially utilize the financing facilities. This diverse participation highlights the need for a robust housing ecosystem, particularly in light of the 3 Million Homes Program targeted during the 2025-2029 National Medium-Term Development Plan (RPJMN) period.
KPP is a financing facility that can be utilized by both businesses and individuals for home construction or renovation, including homes used as business premises. The program is based on Ministerial Regulation No. 13/2025 and PKP Ministerial Regulation No. 13/2025, and can be used as working capital or investment credit. By providing such facilities, Bank Mandiri aims to support the government's housing initiatives while promoting productive businesses.
