Bank Mandiri has been honored with five prestigious awards from Bank Indonesia during the BI Award 2025 ceremony, reinforcing its position as a strategic partner in maintaining financial stability and promoting national economic growth. The awards recognize Mandiri's significant contributions across three key areas: macroprudential policy, monetary policy, and payment systems.
In the macroprudential category, Bank Mandiri was recognized as the Best Bank in Driving Economic Intermediation and Best Bank in Sustainable Finance. These accolades acknowledge Mandiri's success in channeling productive credit and implementing Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) principles. As of October 2025, Mandiri achieved 9.38% year-on-year credit growth, reaching Rp1,403.79 trillion while maintaining optimal credit quality. The bank focused on sectors such as labor-intensive industries, export-oriented businesses, and the food and beverage sector, thereby generating significant economic value.
In monetary policy, Mandiri was awarded as the Best Foreign Exchange Monetary Control Partner Bank and Best Primary Dealer in PUVA Development. These recognitions highlight Mandiri's effectiveness in supporting BI's monetary operations through robust foreign exchange supply and prudent management as a Primary Dealer. Notably, the bank's foreign exchange transactions in the interbank market grew by 32.06% year-to-date as of October 2025, underscoring its critical role in maintaining exchange rate stability and strengthening Indonesia's external resilience.
In payment systems, Mandiri was honored as the Best BI-FAST Participant for KBMI 3 and 4 banks. The bank has been instrumental in expanding BI-FAST adoption, processing 564 million transactions valued at Rp1,425.97 trillion by October 2025, representing a 28% year-on-year increase in transaction volume and a 20% rise in value.
