PT Bank Sahabat Sampoerna reported a net profit of Rp10.71 billion for Q3 2025, representing a substantial 79.5% decrease from Rp52.31 billion in the same quarter of 2024. This decline occurred despite a significant increase in lending, with total credit disbursed reaching Rp11.501 trillion by September 2025, indicating the bank's continued focus on supporting its customers.
The bank maintained its commitment to supporting Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs), with 64.53% of total credit allocated to this segment. The Loan to Deposit Ratio (LDR) stood at 88.30%, showing a 3.8% increase from the previous year's 84.5%. The bank also focused on digital banking services, with transactions through virtual accounts, QRIS payments, and host-to-host fund transfers reaching 331 million transactions valued at Rp102 trillion in the first nine months of 2025.
Director of Finance & Business Planning, Henky Suryaputra, emphasized the bank's commitment to supporting MSMEs despite market challenges. CEO Ali Yong highlighted the importance of strategic partnerships, mentioning collaboration with over 50 fintech companies, multifinance firms, koperasi, and other financial institutions to accelerate MSME digitalization.
While the bank maintained a net interest margin (NIM) of 4.4%, it faced challenges with asset quality, reporting a gross NPL of 4.12% and net NPL of 2.45% as of September 2025. The bank's management indicated that these challenges were being addressed through careful monitoring and strategic adjustments.
