The campaign, running from late December 2025 to 31 January 2026, offers a special online transfer rate of Rp 2,900 per transaction across various digital channels including Internet Banking, Mobile Banking, and ATM services.
Analyst Abdul Azis from Kiwoom Sekuritas views this initiative as a demonstration of national banks' commitment to enhancing financial inclusion through digitalization. The reduced fees are expected to attract first-time users, particularly among the younger generation and micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) that increasingly rely on mobile banking for daily transactions.
The BWS Mobile application serves as a primary channel for this digital banking initiative. The app enables customers to perform various banking activities, including balance inquiries, fund transfers, and bill payments, thereby enhancing the overall banking experience with greater convenience and flexibility.
