The Bakti BCA program has been working closely with 50 weavers from four different groups in Sumba Timur: Kambatatana, Wukukalara, Kawangu, and Prai Kilimbatu. These women are recognized for their exceptional skill in traditional weaving and their role in maintaining cultural traditions. The program provides training and support to enhance their craft, with a particular emphasis on using natural dyes derived from local plants.
The program's culminating event featured the participation of Nicholas Saputra, a well-known Indonesian actor and BCA's Bakti BCA ambassador. Saputra's involvement highlights the importance of cultural preservation and brings additional visibility to the program. According to Hera F.
