PT Bank Central Asia Tbk (BCA) has been honored with the Overall Champion award at the Annual Report Award (ARA) 2024, organized by the National Governance Policy Committee (KNKG) in collaboration with the Financial Services Authority (OJK). This achievement marks BCA's second consecutive win, following their success in 2023. The award recognizes the bank's commitment to producing high-quality, transparent annual reports that reflect sustainable business growth and comply with OJK regulations.

• BCA won multiple categories including Overall Champion ARA 2024, Overall Champion Gopublik Keuangan, and Overall Champion in the Rp5 trillion cluster

BCA's Response to the Award

BCA Director Vera Eve Lim stated that the award is a result of the bank's consistent commitment to implementing good corporate governance. She emphasized that the achievement motivates BCA to continue improving the quality of their business management and maintaining sustainable values in their business practices, products, and services. The bank's annual report was recognized for its comprehensive and integrated presentation, reflecting BCA's dedication to transparency and accountability.

Significance of Annual Report Award

The ARA, which has been held since 2002, serves as a benchmark for assessing the credibility of companies' annual reports in Indonesia. In the 2024 edition, 206 companies participated, with 45 shortlisted as finalists. The event was organized by KNKG in collaboration with multiple regulatory bodies including OJK, Ministry of Finance, and Indonesia Stock Exchange. BCA's repeat win demonstrates their leadership in corporate transparency and reporting standards in Indonesia's banking sector.
