The National Nutrition Agency (BGN) has addressed the delayed payment of salaries for officers involved in the Free Nutritious Meal Program (MBG). The delay is attributed to administrative technical issues rather than budget constraints. BGN assures that all pending payments will be processed, with back pay for affected officers. Approximately 30,000 officers are involved in the program.
The National Nutrition Agency (BGN) has responded to concerns regarding the delayed payment of salaries for officers involved in the Free Nutritious Meal Program (MBG). According to BGN, the issue stems from administrative technical challenges rather than a lack of available funds. The agency is currently working to rectify the situation.
The MBG program involves a substantial workforce, with approximately 30,000 officers classified as SPPI (Petugas Pendukung Pelaksanaan Inovasi), along with additional personnel categorized as Akuntan (AK) and Ahli Gizi (AG). The large volume of data and administrative processes required for these personnel has contributed to the delay.
BGN's Deputy Head, Nanik Sudaryati Deyang, explained that the administrative adjustments are still ongoing, particularly for SPPI Batch III officers who have not yet received PPPK status, as well as some AG and AK personnel. However, SPPI Batch I and II officers who have already obtained PPPK status have not faced any payment issues.
BGN has committed to ensuring that all officers receive their full entitlements. The agency has confirmed that any delayed payments from recent weeks will be processed as back pay and prioritized for resolution this week. "This is purely an administrative technical issue. We are verifying a large number of officers, some of whom require administrative status adjustments. We will ensure this process is completed promptly," Nanik stated.
