BGN Clarifies PPPK Eligibility Criteria for SPPG Personnel

Limited Positions Eligible for PPPK Conversion

The National Nutrition Agency (BGN) has issued a clarification regarding the eligibility of Nutrition Fulfillment Service Unit (SPPG) personnel for conversion to Pegawai Pemerintah dengan Perjanjian Kerja (PPPK) status. According to BGN Deputy Head Nanik S Deyang, the new regulations outlined in Presidential Regulation No. 115 about the governance of the Free Nutritious Meal Program will only apply to core employees with strategic functions.

Specific Positions Eligible for PPPK

The eligible positions for PPPK status include:

• SPPG Heads
• Nutritionists
• Accountants

These roles are considered to have strategic technical and administrative functions essential to the operation of SPPG. Other personnel and volunteers outside these core positions are not included in the PPPK conversion scheme.

Context and Implementation

The clarification comes in response to various misinterpretations of Article 17 of Presidential Regulation No. 115, which states that SPPG employees will be appointed as PPPK according to prevailing regulations. BGN emphasized that the term 'SPPG employees' in this context specifically refers to these core positions rather than all personnel involved in daily operations.

The BGN's clarification provides necessary specificity about the implementation of the new PPPK policy for SPPG personnel, ensuring that only positions with critical functions are considered for the status change. This approach aims to maintain the integrity and effectiveness of the SPPG operations while aligning with government human resource management policies.
