Key insights and market outlook
BNI continues to support export-oriented Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) through its BNI Xpora program. The bank recently conducted training and mentoring for the Gorontalo Export Community (KEG), focusing on market intelligence, global marketing strategies, and export regulations. This initiative aims to strengthen MSMEs' capacity and help them penetrate global markets. The program aligns with BNI's commitment to driving regional economic growth and enhancing MSMEs' competitiveness.
PT Bank Negara Indonesia (Persero) Tbk, or BNI, continues to expand its contribution to promoting export-oriented Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) through its BNI Xpora program. One of its latest efforts was the training and mentoring provided to the Gorontalo Export Community (Komunitas Ekspor Gorontalo or KEG), held at Roemah Marly, Gorontalo. BNI's Commercial Banking Director, Muhammad Iqbal, stated that the program was designed to strengthen the capacity of business actors in understanding international regulations and requirements, so that MSME products can be accepted in more global markets.
During the event, BNI Xpora provided several key materials, ranging from market intelligence and global marketing strategies to an introduction to the Xpora program and understanding export regulations. The training aimed to provide practical knowledge on product readiness according to international standards and appropriate market penetration strategies for each commodity.
Collaboration with the Gorontalo Export Community was a crucial element of this activity. KEG has been serving as a platform for nurturing export-based MSMEs, including improving product quality and business management. Some members of the community had successfully passed the curation process and participated in an international exhibition in Tokyo on 23-25 September 2025, demonstrating the significant potential of Gorontalo's MSMEs to penetrate global markets.
Through continuous training and mentoring, BNI believes this program is a strategic step to strengthen the competitiveness of Gorontalo's MSMEs, making them more productive and capable of expanding their market to the international level. This initiative aligns with BNI's commitment to driving regional economic growth through capacity building, expanding access to financing, and developing global marketing networks. With the Xpora ecosystem continuing to be strengthened, BNI hopes that MSMEs will not only increase their export volume but also be able to survive and thrive sustainably in the global market.
