BNI's involvement in the Gerakan Bersama Edukasi Pelindungan Konsumen (GEBER PK) through its Gerai Cakrawala Edukasi dan Ruang Diskusi Aman untuk Semua Konsumen Indonesia (CERDAS) initiative was particularly acknowledged.
The Gerai CERDAS program, launched on October 29, 2025, is a collaborative effort between BNI and Universitas Indonesia (UI). It serves as an educational center and discussion forum focused on consumer protection in digital transactions. The facility is designed to enhance digital literacy among university students by providing education on personal data protection, recognizing digital fraud, risk mitigation strategies, and initial handling of transaction security threats.
BNI's Director of Operations, Ronny Venir, emphasized that the bank views this initiative as a strategic step in fostering a culture of digital security awareness among young generations. By equipping students with necessary knowledge about digital transaction security, BNI aims to contribute to creating a more secure and sustainable digital ecosystem.
