The bank's Corporate Secretary, Okki Rushartomo, stated that the restoration was carried out to ensure customers could access financial services during the emergency situation.
The affected branches are located in Medan, Sibolga, and Gunung Sitoli. In addition to restoring branch operations, BNI has reactivated 47 ATMs that were previously non-functional due to floodwaters. The bank deployed satellite internet services at several outlets to maintain uninterrupted transaction processing.
BNI initiated limited operational services on November 29, 2025, at BNI KC Gunung Sitoli, followed by BNI KC Sibolga and BNI KCP Pandan on November 30, 2025. These services were designed to address urgent financial needs of customers affected by the flood.
