BNI Supports Danantara in Delivering Post-Disaster Housing in Aceh Tamiang

PT Bank Negara Indonesia (Persero) Tbk (BNI) has actively participated in the handover of 600 Danantara Houses (huntara) in Aceh Tamiang, marking a significant step in post-disaster recovery efforts. The bank contributed 120 units of housing, representing 20% of the total, as part of a broader government initiative to provide 15,000 housing units for disaster victims across three provinces: Aceh, West Sumatra, and North Sumatra.

Collaborative Effort for Community Recovery

The Danantara housing project is a collaborative effort involving various state-owned enterprises (BUMN) under the coordination of Danantara Indonesia. BNI's involvement demonstrates its commitment to corporate social responsibility and support for government programs aimed at enhancing community welfare. The handover ceremony was attended by key stakeholders, including Managing Director of Stakeholder Management at Danantara Indonesia, Rohan Hafas, and Area Head of BNI Aceh, highlighting the collaborative nature of the project.

Features of Danantara Housing

The Danantara houses are equipped with essential facilities such as playgrounds, WiFi connectivity, prayer rooms, public facilities, and adequate sanitation infrastructure. These features are designed to provide a comfortable and secure living environment for the residents. The construction was led by PT Hutama Karya (Persero) as the coordinating executor, with BNI playing a crucial role in the project's completion.
