The meeting, scheduled from 14:00 to 15:30 WIB, will address four critical agenda items that will shape the bank's future operations and governance structure.
The first agenda item focuses on amending BNI's articles of association. This change is crucial as it may impact various aspects of the bank's operations, including governance, management structure, and compliance with regulatory requirements.
The second item involves delegating authority to approve the bank's work plan and budget for 2026. This move could streamline the decision-making process and provide more flexibility in managing the bank's operations for the upcoming year.
The third agenda item concerns the approval of the updated recovery plan for 2025/2026. This plan is essential for ensuring the bank's financial stability and ability to navigate potential future challenges.
The fourth and final item on the agenda is the ratification of the resignation of one of BNI's commissioners, Suminto, who was appointed as a member of the Deposit Insurance Corporation (LPS) Commission effective October 8, 2025. Suminto's resignation as commissioner was reported to the Indonesia Stock Exchange on October 10, 2025.
Suminto, who was previously a commissioner at BNI since his appointment at the Annual General Meeting on March 26, 2025, has taken on a new role as Director General of Debt Management and Risk at the Ministry of Finance. He holds a Ph.D. in Development Economics from Ritsumeikan Asia Pacific University in Japan and has had a distinguished career in the Ministry of Finance since 1996.
