Recognition for UMKM Support Initiatives

PT Bank Negara Indonesia (Persero) Tbk (BBNI) has been honored with the Entrepreneur Hub Collaborator award at the 2025 Inspirational Entrepreneur Appreciation ceremony organized by the Ministry of UMKM. This recognition highlights BNI's comprehensive support for UMKM through its BNI Xpora platform, which provides financing solutions, export training, and digital mentoring.

Strategic Impact on UMKM Development

BNI's Commercial Banking Director, Muhammad Iqbal, stated that this award acknowledges the bank's consistent efforts in empowering UMKM to elevate their business class and expand globally. The BNI Xpora platform offers comprehensive support including export training, product curation assistance, and market access through BNI's nine overseas branches. The platform also provides digital services such as wondr by BNI, BNIdirect, and TapCash.

Future Plans for UMKM Empowerment

Through this achievement, BNI plans to further expand its support for national UMKM by strengthening their export capabilities, enhancing digital literacy, and providing broader financing access. BNI aims to make UMKM key players in the global economy while contributing significantly to Indonesia's economic growth. Muhammad Iqbal emphasized that BNI is committed to being UMKM's primary partner in their journey to elevate their business class and achieve global reach.

Collaboration with Government Initiatives

The award ceremony, held at JS Luwansa Hotel & Convention Center in Jakarta, was attended by thousands of participants from various sectors including financial institutions, businesses, entrepreneur communities, and academic institutions. The event was also addressed by the Coordinating Minister for Community Empowerment, Abdul Muhaimin Iskandar, as the keynote speaker. Ministry of UMKM's Maman Abdurrahman highlighted the importance of the 'grow and sustain' pillars in entrepreneurship amid global economic transformation, emphasizing the need for innovation, digitalization, and healthy business governance.
