BPJS Kesehatan organized a comprehensive field visit for their Duta Muda (Young Ambassadors) program participants to RS Islam Sukapura and their Jakarta Utara branch office. This educational initiative aimed to provide firsthand experience of the JKN (Jaminan Kesehatan Nasional) program's implementation across different touchpoints. The visit was designed to enhance the ambassadors' understanding of both the healthcare service delivery and administrative aspects of the national health insurance program.
The visit began at RS Islam Sukapura, where the young ambassadors were introduced to the complete JKN service流程, starting from patient registration and online queuing systems to inpatient care procedures. They engaged in discussions with healthcare professionals and hospital management, gaining insights into the operational challenges and successes of implementing JKN. The hospital currently serves about 90% JKN participants, making it an ideal location for observing the program's impact.
The second part of the visit took the ambassadors to the BPJS Kesehatan Jakarta Utara branch office, where they learned about the administrative processes underlying the JKN program. This included understanding membership registration, data management procedures, and various digital innovations introduced by BPJS Kesehatan. Notable digital services showcased included the Mobile JKN application, PANDAWA WhatsApp service (08118165165), and Care Center 165.
Rizzky Anugerah, BPJS Kesehatan's Head of Public Relations, emphasized that this visit was crucial for building the capacity of the Duta Muda to become effective educators about the JKN program. By experiencing the program's implementation firsthand, these young ambassadors are better equipped to create engaging content that can improve public literacy about JKN. Their role as a bridge between BPJS Kesehatan and younger audiences is seen as critical in making information about JKN more accessible and understandable.
The visit also served as a platform for mutual learning. Tresia Mahaputeri NM, Director of RS Islam Sukapura, welcomed the feedback from the young ambassadors, recognizing its potential to improve JKN services at the hospital. This collaborative approach highlights BPJS Kesehatan's commitment to continuous improvement in healthcare service delivery through various stakeholder engagements.
