The forum was opened by Asep Rahmat Suwandha, Director of Finance and Risk Management, and attended by the Board of Directors, Supervisory Board, and featured Prof. Wimbo Santoso, former OJK Commissioner (2017-2022), as a key speaker.
During the event, Asep Rahmat Suwandha emphasized that risk management should not be limited to a single unit but understood across all leadership levels. He highlighted the importance of Risk-Based Decision Making to maintain program sustainability and public trust. As of October 31, 2025, BPJS Ketenagakerjaan managed 43.54 million active participants with Rp893.30 trillion in investment funds. The organization has paid Rp56.63 trillion in benefit claims across 4,043,441 cases. These substantial figures underscore the critical need for robust risk management and governance practices.
The rapidly changing business environment, characterized by global economic fluctuations, regulatory changes, digital transformation, data security concerns, and increasing service demands, necessitates enhanced risk governance.
