Key insights and market outlook
BPJS Ketenagakerjaan and BPJS Kesehatan have implemented a national guarantee system for work accident (KK) and occupational disease (PAK) cases through their e-PLKK application. The integration enables automatic validation of participant eligibility, instant issuance of SEP, and accurate INA-CBGs tariff recording. This digital transformation enhances service quality, reduces administrative delays, and ensures comprehensive coverage for workers across Indonesia.
BPJS Ketenagakerjaan and BPJS Kesehatan have marked a significant milestone in their collaborative efforts by implementing a national guarantee system for work accident (KK) and occupational disease (PAK) cases. The integration of their systems through the e-PLKK application was officially launched in an event held at RSUD Sleman.
The new system provides several critical enhancements to the existing process:
The implementation of this system significantly benefits both workers and healthcare providers. Workers receive faster and more certain medical treatment as the eligibility verification process is automated, reducing the administrative burden at the time of service. Healthcare providers, on the other hand, benefit from a more structured and efficient workflow, as the system minimizes the need for manual verification and documentation.
The launch of this integrated system aligns with Government Regulation No. 49 of 2023, which mandates BPJS Ketenagakerjaan as the primary guarantor for work accident and occupational disease cases. Both BPJS agencies are committed to regular monitoring to ensure the system's optimal performance and continuous improvement in service quality. The integration also received full support from the National Social Security Council (DJSN), emphasizing its strategic importance in enhancing Indonesia's social security framework.
