BRI Receives Mandate to Distribute Rp4.4 Trillion BLTS Kesra Aid

Extensive Distribution Network Utilized

PT Bank Rakyat Indonesia (Persero) Tbk (BBRI) has been entrusted by the Ministry of Social Affairs to distribute Rp4.4 trillion in Bantuan Langsung Tunai Sementara Kesejahteraan Rakyat (BLTS Kesra) Stage I aid. The distribution will reach 4.9 million recipient families across Indonesia. BRI's extensive network, comprising 7,405 operational branches, 10,650 ATMs, 9,007 CRM machines, and over 1.2 million BRILink agents as of Q3 2025, will be utilized to facilitate the aid disbursement.

Government's Economic Stimulus Package

The BLTS Kesra is part of the government's economic stimulus package announced in October 2025, aimed at boosting consumer spending, expanding work opportunities, and strengthening national economic growth. The aid program is expected to benefit approximately 140 million individuals, assuming an average of four family members per recipient household.

Implementation and Monitoring

The distribution will be carried out through Himpunan Bank Milik Negara (Himbara) and PT Pos Indonesia. As of the latest update, 16.3 million regular aid recipients have been verified, while 12.6 million new recipients have been deemed eligible out of 16.8 million verified applicants. The Minister of Social Affairs has urged recipients to use the aid wisely and in accordance with its intended purpose.
