BRI Launches 'Satukan Langkah untuk Sumatra' Initiative to Support Disaster Relief Efforts

BRI Group, in collaboration with Danantara, organized a charity event titled 'Satukan Langkah untuk Sumatra' to support communities affected by natural disasters in various regions of Sumatra. This initiative was conducted as part of BRI's 130th anniversary celebrations, emphasizing the bank's commitment to corporate social responsibility and community welfare.

Event Details

The event took place on December 21, 2025, at BRI's headquarters in Jakarta, starting at 06:00 and concluding at 10:00 WIB. Approximately 5,000 participants attended the charity walk, which covered a total distance of 5 km, estimated to be around 7,500 steps. Each step taken by the participants was converted into a donation of Rp 1,300. The initiative aimed to raise Rp 50 billion for post-disaster infrastructure development needed by the affected communities.
