BRI received two Platinum awards for Asia's Best Sustainability Report (Public Sector and CEO Letter) and one Gold award for Asia's Best Materiality Reporting. The awards recognize BRI's exceptional performance in sustainability reporting, transparency, and adherence to global standards.

The bank also received one Gold award for: 3. Asia's Best Materiality Reporting: Commending BRI's Double Materiality Assessment (DMA) process aligned with IFRS S1-S2 from ISSB. This process helps identify, prioritize, and transparently report material sustainability issues to stakeholders, supporting long-term strategic decisions.
The ASRA 2025 awards evaluated 77 companies from 17 Asian countries across various industries. The judging criteria included depth of analysis, innovation, and alignment with global reporting standards such as GRI, SASB, ISSB, TCFD, AA1000, GHG Protocol, UNGP, and TNFD.

The bank's sustainability report is structured according to international standards, making it comprehensive and transparent. The Double Materiality Assessment helps prioritize sustainability issues that are material to the business and stakeholders, guiding strategic decisions with a long-term impact focus.
