PT Bank Rakyat Indonesia (Persero) Tbk has achieved significant milestones with its BRImo digital banking application. By end-September 2025, the user base reached 44.4 million, representing a substantial 19.4% year-over-year increase. The daily transaction value through BRImo has also seen a dramatic rise, reaching Rp25 trillion by September 2025, up from Rp14 trillion in March 2025.
BRI's Director Utama, Hery Gunardi, highlighted that the growth in BRImo's transaction volume has positively impacted the bank's third-party funds (DPK). Consolidated DPK grew 8.2% YoY to Rp1,474.8 trillion. The quality of DPK also improved, with the CASA (Current Account and Savings Account) ratio rising to 67.6% of total DPK. This was driven by a 24.5% YoY growth in demand deposits and a 7.2% YoY increase in savings deposits.
The significant growth in BRImo's user base and transaction volume reflects BRI's successful digital transformation strategy. The increased CASA ratio has helped reduce funding costs, thereby enhancing the bank's profitability. BRI's commitment to strengthening its digital infrastructure, including BRImo, Qlola, merchant services, EDC, QRIS, and AgenBRILink, positions it well for sustainable growth. As Hery Gunardi stated, this digital transformation not only expands customer access and convenience but also strengthens the company's profitability and growth foundation through the BRIVolution Reignite initiative.
