As of December 2025, 100% of BSI's 1,032 branches are now accessible to people with disabilities, featuring infrastructure such as wheelchair ramps, disability-friendly toilets, and Braille-enabled ATMs. The bank has also made substantial progress in its digital services, with 75% of its 4,500 ATM/CRM machines equipped with Braille, facilitating transactions for visually impaired customers.
BSI has expanded its digital accessibility through various e-channels, including BSI Call 14040, BYOND by BSI, BSI Net Banking, and over 100,000 BSI Agents across Indonesia. These services are designed to be easily accessible for customers with disabilities, supporting the bank's commitment to financial inclusion. The bank currently employs 13 staff members with disabilities, providing opportunities in various fields and demonstrating its dedication to inclusive employment practices.
BSI's CEO, Anggoro Eko Cahyo, emphasized the bank's commitment to creating an inclusive financial environment. "We're committed to accelerating services that are accessible to all customers, including those with disabilities," he stated. The bank's initiatives align with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals, particularly Goal 10, which focuses on reducing inequalities.
The bank's efforts extend beyond its branches, with special programs such as free mudik (homecoming) transportation for people with disabilities during Eid al-Fitr. BSI also collaborates with disabled entrepreneurs through its BSI Maslahat program and ecosystem of BSI Agents, further enhancing its social impact.
