As of January 8, 2025, the CBP in Aceh stood at 64,889 tons. With the additional 50,000 tons, the total stock will reach more than 100,000 tons. Rizal emphasized that this increased stock is expected to be sufficient to meet the region's needs during Ramadan. Bulog has also been actively involved in disaster relief efforts in Aceh. The company has distributed 12,561 tons of rice as part of the government's disaster relief program. Additionally, 154 tons of regional rice reserves have been allocated, and 5,000 tons of rice were supplied at the request of the Governor of Aceh. These efforts highlight Bulog's critical role in maintaining food stability during both normal and crisis periods.
The increased rice reserve is part of broader food security measures being implemented by Bulog. The company is also managing cooking oil reserves, with 307,220 kiloliters currently stockpiled in Aceh. These efforts are designed to ensure that essential food commodities remain available throughout the Ramadan period and beyond.
