A Bulog warehouse in Sibolga was looted after a natural disaster disrupted logistics, creating a food emergency in the community. Perum Bulog confirmed the incident, stating that the disaster had cut off logistical access, leaving the community in dire need.

Bulog's Operational and Public Service Director, Andi Afdal, urged all parties to support recovery efforts and maintain order for the affected community's sake. Meanwhile, Bulog's North Sumatra Regional Leader, Budi Cahyanto, reported ongoing coordination with local government, TNI, and Polri to restore aid distribution and stabilize the situation.
