Housing and Infrastructure Development

The relief efforts focus on building 15,000 housing units across three provinces: 12,000 units in Aceh, 2,000 in North Sumatra, and 500 in West Sumatra ¹

. The construction is being carried out on a 5.8 hectare land area, with potential expansion to 13 hectares ³

Additional Facilities and Community Support

• 14 public kitchens
• 120 bathrooms
• Wi-Fi infrastructure
• Community prayer rooms

The initial phase includes handing over 600 housing units to local authorities on January 8, 2026 ³

Implementation and Workforce

The construction process has created employment opportunities for 1,635 workers from various BUMN construction companies, including Hutama Karya, Waskita Karya, Adhi Karya, and PP, working in shifts to meet the deadline ³

Financial Management and Oversight

BNPB (National Disaster Management Agency) is overseeing the financial management of the relief efforts, with regular audits and reporting to the Ministry of Finance and BPKP (Financial and Development Supervisory Agency) ²
