Selection Committee Takes Over Final Decision

The National Social Security Council (DJSN) has completed the initial stages of selecting new leadership for both BPJS Kesehatan and BPJS Ketenagakerjaan for the 2026-2031 period. The Selection Committee (Pansel), established by President Prabowo Subianto through Presidential Decree Number 105/P Year 2025, has taken over the final decision-making process.

Shortlisted Candidates and Next Steps

The selection process has shortlisted 28 candidates for the leadership positions. The Pansel has now forwarded 14 names to President Prabowo Subianto for the Direksi positions and a similar number to the DPR for the Dewan Pengawas positions. The final appointments will be made by these two state institutions, with each selecting half of the candidates.

Current Leadership Term and Transition Timeline

The current leadership of both BPJS entities will conclude their terms in early February 2026. This timeline aligns with the selection process, ensuring a smooth transition of leadership. DJSN Chairman Nunung Nuryartono confirmed that the final decisions are now in the hands of the Pansel and subsequently the President and DPR.
