The mission, led by East Java Governor Khofifah Indar Parawansa and Southeast Sulawesi Governor Andi Sumangerukka, was held at Hotel Claro in Kendari on November 19, 2025. The significant increase in transaction value demonstrates the growing economic potential between the two regions and highlights the effectiveness of such trade missions in fostering business connections.
Governor Khofifah emphasized that this successful trade mission aligns with the region's broader economic strategies, including supporting local businesses, reducing import dependency, and boosting domestic trade.
