Strategic Response to LPG and Ammonia Challenges

PT Essa Industries Indonesia Tbk (ESSA) is implementing operational optimizations for its LPG refinery and ammonia plant in 2026 following a significant production decline in 2025. The company's Chief Financial Officer, Prakash Bumb, reported that the average daily production of the LPG refinery decreased by 9% year-on-year to 175 metric tons per day (MTPD) as of Q3 2025. Total production and sales volumes for the period declined by 8% YoY to 47,624 metric tons (MT) and 47,674 MT respectively.

Key Factors Behind Production Decline

The reduction in LPG production and sales was primarily attributed to a lower feed gas composition percentage being directed to the refinery. This critical factor impacted the overall output and sales performance of Essa Industries' LPG operations. The company is now focusing on optimizing its operational efficiency to mitigate these challenges in the coming year.
