As the year-end approaches, many Indonesians look forward to vacations with family and friends. Financial planner Andy Nugroho emphasizes the importance of budgeting for these trips to avoid financial strain.
Andy recommends allocating 10% of monthly income towards leisure activities, including vacations or personal hobbies. This systematic approach ensures that individuals can enjoy their year-end break without compromising their financial stability.
For those receiving bonuses or holiday allowances, Andy suggests using these additional funds to enhance their vacation experience. However, for individuals without such extra income, he emphasizes the importance of planning and saving throughout the year. "Persentasenya itu kalau idealnya sih per bulan kita menyisihkan 10% ya untuk me time kita gitu kan, dan selalu menekankan sebisa mungkin kita menyisikan dana untuk me time itu," Andy advised.
