The Indonesian government, through the Housing Savings Management Agency (BP Tapera), remains optimistic about achieving its ambitious target of distributing 350,000 subsidized housing units through the Fasilitas Likuiditas Pembiayaan Perumahan (FLPP) program by the end of 2025. As of November 3, 2025, the agency has successfully distributed 213,630 units, with a total transaction value reaching Rp 26.51 trillion. This represents 61.04% of the annual target, leaving less than two months to achieve the remaining quota.
BP Tapera Komisioner Heru Pudyo Nugroho emphasized the agency's commitment to maintaining a collaborative spirit to ensure that low-income households can achieve their dream of homeownership in 2025. The optimism is shared by participating banks, with Bank Pembangunan Daerah (BPD) Daerah Istimewa Yogyakarta (DIY) reporting that it has distributed 667 FLPP mortgage units with a total outstanding balance of Rp 95.9 billion.
The successful distribution of FLPP mortgages not only supports the government's housing initiatives but also contributes to the overall property market. With less than two months remaining in 2025, the focus will be on accelerating the remaining distributions to meet the target. The collaboration between BP Tapera and participating financial institutions will be crucial in achieving this goal.
