IKN Infrastructure Development: Main Road Construction Nears Completion

The Nusantara Capital Authority (IKN) continues to advance the development of basic infrastructure as the backbone of connectivity in the Core Government Area (KIPP) of the new capital city. The current focus is on the construction of Road 1B - 1C, designed as the main road in KIPP IKN, playing a crucial role in connecting various strategic plots, including educational areas, government facilities, and residential zones.

Progress Update on Road Construction

According to the IKN Authority's report on January 7, 2026, the road network development is being executed through seven contract packages (A-G), with an average construction progress reaching 99%. These roads will not only support daily mobility but also serve as connectors between different functional areas that will support government activities and community life in IKN.

Detailed Progress by Contract Package:

1. Package A: 99% progress, covering Section 1 (1.3 km) connecting vertical ASN housing to PSSI Field.
2. Package B: 100% progress, covering Section 2 (1.9 km) passing through strategic plots including Al-Azhar School.
3. Package C: 100% progress, covering Section 3 (1.8 km) serving access to educational areas like Taruna Nusantara School.
4. Package D: 100% progress, covering Section 5 (2.2 km) supporting connectivity between investment plots in the warehouse hub area.
5. Package E: 99% progress, covering PSSI ring road (2.2 km) connecting PSSI Field and Mayapada Hospital.
6. Package F: 100% progress, covering a 2.5 km road connecting to Tol Seksi 6C, passing through plots towards Abdi Waluyo Hospital.
7. Package G: 100% progress, covering Section 4 (1 km) leading to Taruna Nusantara School.
