Accelerating 18 Strategic Projects

The Indonesian government is accelerating 18 hilirisasi projects worth Rp618.13 trillion to achieve economic independence and reduce reliance on raw material exports ¹

Diverse Projects for Comprehensive Growth

The 18 projects include the development of refinery facilities, storage facilities, and the processing of alumina and silika ². One of the priority projects is the Dimethyl Ether (DME) project, which aims to reduce Indonesia's dependence on LPG imports and utilize the country's vast domestic gas production ³.

Government Commitment and International Support

President Prabowo Subianto has emphasized the importance of accelerating these hilirisasi projects, ensuring they are completed and enter the physical development stage by 2026 ⁴. The government has also secured commitments from international investors, including sovereign wealth funds from Qatar, China, and Russia, totaling USD 7 billion ⁵.
