Significant Progress in Rural Economic Empowerment

The Indonesian government, through PT Agrinas Pangan Nusantara, has made substantial progress in establishing Red and White Village Cooperatives (Kopdes Merah Putih) across the nation. As of recent reports, 16,770 cooperatives have been established, marking a significant achievement in the government's rural development agenda. This number represents 20.02% of the overall target of creating 83,752 such cooperatives nationwide.

Accelerated Implementation Under Presidential Directive

The rapid progress in establishing these cooperatives comes under the direct supervision of President Prabowo Subianto, who has emphasized the need for swift implementation. According to Joao Angelo De Sousa Mota, CEO of PT Agrinas Pangan Nusantara, the company was instructed to expedite the process. Speaking at the State Palace in Jakarta, Mota expressed confidence that the initiative would reach 50% completion by the end of the year.
