Indonesia's Energy Minister Bahlil Lahadalia confirmed that fuel stock remains stable for the 2025 Christmas and 2026 New Year holidays. Petrol stock stands at 19 days supply, exceeding the minimum 17-day reserve. Diesel stock is at 15 days, above the 14-day minimum. Both subsidized and non-subsidized fuel stocks are above national reserves, ensuring no supply disruptions during the peak period.
Energy Minister Bahlil Lahadalia has confirmed that Indonesia's fuel stock is stable and secure for the Christmas 2025 and New Year 2026 holidays. The minister reported that the stock of RON 90 petrol (Pertalite) averages 19 days supply, comfortably above the government's minimum reserve requirement of 17 days.
The stock levels apply to both subsidized and non-subsidized fuel, with the latter typically used for industrial purposes. Bahlil emphasized that both state-owned enterprises and private companies have sufficient stock, eliminating any potential supply chain disruptions during the holiday period.
The government has been closely monitoring fuel demand and supply throughout the year-end holiday season. Bahlil's statement comes as part of the government's efforts to ensure energy security during peak consumption periods.
