Extended Registration Periods for Motis Program

The Indonesian government, through the Directorate General of Railways (DJKA) under the Ministry of Transportation, has announced an extension of the registration period for the Angkutan Motor Gratis (Motis) program using trains for the 2025/2026 Mudik season. The decision to extend the registration was made due to the high interest and enthusiasm from the public. As of December 12, 2025, at 20:00 WIB, 1,844 motorcycles with 3,052 passengers had already registered for the Motis Nataru 2025/2026 program.

Registration and Transportation Schedule

The extended program now includes two registration periods and two transportation periods:

• Registration Period 1: 1-29 December 2025
• Registration Period 2: 1-4 January 2026
• Transportation Period 1: 23-30 December 2025
• Transportation Period 2: 2-5 January 2026

Program Details and Requirements

Participants in the Motis program will not only have their motorcycles transported but will also receive free train tickets for two passengers and one ticket for a child under three years old, subject to ticket availability. To participate, applicants must meet several requirements:

1. Not be registered in other free mudik programs
2. Register through nusantara.kemenhub.go.id followed by verification at designated registration posts
3. Provide a valid email address
4. Motorcycle engine capacity below 200cc
5. Submit valid Family Card, ID Card, Driving License, and Vehicle Registration Certificate
6. Commit to participating in the program once registered
