With a projected 13.29% increase in passenger numbers compared to the previous year's Nataru period, the ministry is implementing various strategies to prevent traffic congestion and ensure smooth operations.

1. Traffic Engineering: The ministry is preparing delay systems and other traffic management techniques to handle the increased traffic flow towards the airport. Special focus is being given to critical points such as u-turns and intersections in the vicinity of the airport, particularly at Tuban.
2. Road Closures and Diversions: Planned road closures and traffic diversions are being implemented, especially during peak hours and significant events like New Year's Eve celebrations in Kuta.
