Indonesian toll road operators experienced significant traffic growth during the 2025/2026 New Year holiday period. PT Waskita Toll Road (WTR) reported a total of 1,680,626 vehicles using their toll roads between December 20, 2025, and January 4, 2026, representing a 7.3% increase compared to the previous year's Nataru period ¹

Tariff Adjustments

The increased traffic comes as the Ministry of Public Works has approved tariff hikes on four strategic toll roads effective January 5, 2026. The affected toll roads include Tol Bandara (Prof Dr Ir Sedyatmo Toll Road), Tol Solo-Ngawi, Tol Ngawi-Kertosono, and Tol Ujung Padang 1-3 ²
