Selection Process for National Energy Council Begins

The House of Representatives (DPR RI) has initiated the fit and proper test for eight candidates nominated for the National Energy Council (DEN) for the 2026-2030 period. These candidates were proposed by President Prabowo Subianto and represent various stakeholders from different backgrounds, including academia and industry. The process is being conducted by Commission XII of the DPR, which comprises 26 members from 8 different factions.

Candidates Present Their Visions

The eight candidates underwent a rigorous evaluation process where they were required to present their visions and missions should they be selected for the DEN. The candidates are: 1. Agus Puji Prasetyono, 2. Johni Jonatan Numberi, 3. Mohamad Fadhil Hasan, 4. Riki Firmandha Ibrahim, 5. Sampe L. Purba, 6. Satya Widya Yudha, 7. Silviana, and 8. Sripeni Inten Cahyani.
