Indonesia Launches Massive Free Nutritious Meals Program

Program Overview

The National Nutrition Agency (BGN) is set to disburse Rp900 billion (approximately USD 60 million) daily starting January 2026 to fund the government's ambitious free nutritious meals program. This initiative aims to benefit 60 million people initially, with plans to expand to 82.9 million beneficiaries by February 2026.

The program will be executed through 24,000 Nutrition Fulfillment Service Units (SPPG) that are targeted to be operational by the end of December 2025.
